Kimberly Galindo

Meet Our Staff

Kimberly has found that effective therapy occurs within the right therapeutic relationship. Kimberly believes that taking the step towards health and healing is both scary yet freeing. Your story, challenges, and difficulties are important and hold incredible value.  Kimberly hopes her clients will find freedom as they share their voice, find truth, and experience hope through an authentic therapeutic relationship. Clients can expect to make their own decisions during the counseling process as they pursue health while doing so in a relaxed, safe, and authentic space. Kimberly’s counseling interests include sexual dysfunction, healthy sexual communication, healing the sexual relationship after the impact of trauma, affair recovery, infertility miscarriage, and complex or developmental trauma experiences.

Kimberly utilizes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EDMR) with clients affected by a variety of traumatic and adverse life events including but not limited to complex childhood or sexual trauma, single incident trauma such as assaults or crime events, sexual dysfunction, anxiety challenges, and negative perceptions of self.

Kimberly was born and raised in East Texas and now calls the Dallas area home along with her husband. She continues to seek personal and professional growth by sharing her passion, knowledge, and experience with students as an adjunct professor for Dallas Baptist University. Kimberly also enjoys mentorship and leadership in her role as associate director at the Counseling Center at First Baptist Church Richardson.
