CHILDCARE WORKERS

We are hiring several positions for childcare workers with hours on Sunday evenings, Wednesday mornings and evenings and one Friday a month and other days as needed for special events. Must be 18 years or older, Christian and be able to pass a background check. Strong preference to those with a minimum of one year childcare experience.

ADMINISTRATIVE/MINISTRY ASSISTANT
First Baptist Richardson Part Time Administrative/Ministry Assistant First Baptist Richardson is looking for a Ministry Assistant to provide both administrative and ministry support to the Senior Pastor and serve on the Event Team. The ideal candidate will remain personable, reliable, and positive while prioritizing and multitasking in a sometimes fast-paced environment. The position involves daily administrative tasks such as: calendaring, organizing, answering emails and managing projects. You must be detail-oriented and organized, as well as possess good analytical and problem-solving skills. Candidates must be willing and able to tackle new challenges and be supportive in breaking new ground. This means that beyond daily administrative tasks, you will occasionally have larger projects to support, so you must be a self-starter who can meet critical deadlines. Position is Part-time (28 hours per week), generally within the office hours of 8:30 – 5:00 pm Monday – Thursday, with no health insurance benefits offered.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel and Publisher
• Familiar with general clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, mailing, scanning, etc.
• Strong grammar, editing, and proofreading skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to be diplomatic, tactful, and professional
• Ability to be discreet and maintain confidential information
• Ability to handle projects independently with minimum direction
• Passion to serve and do whatever it takes to help First Baptist Richardson fulfill its mission. Maintain a close understanding of the core values, mission, and vision of FBR, ensuring that the duties performed reinforce these ideals.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
• Support Senior Pastor
• Oversee funerals
• Maintain Worship Center supplies
• Serve on Event Team
• Manage daily custodial calendar
• Arrange bus transportation as needed

MISSIONS & STUDENT MINISTRY ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

STUDENT PASTOR
The role of the FBCR Student Pastor is to advocate for families with students and oversee discipleship of the next generation. The Student Pastor will advocate for the students as well as for the parents of these young people because they are in the greatest position to influence the young.  He will influence parents to realize their role as primary leaders in children’s spiritual formation. A function of the Student Pastor is to develop and coordinate a balanced program of Student Ministry that includes Bible study, discipleship training, missions’ education and opportunities to serve, outreach, and fellowship.  The Student Pastor will have a firm understanding of, and will be in alignment with, the FBCR mission/vision statement, core values, and church leadership. The Student Pastor will work with the Student Lead Team and the Adult Lead Team as a source of ideas, advice, support, and implementation. The Student Pastor reports to the Executive Pastor.
